Bioidentical Hormone Replacement

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Treatment - The Fundamentals Concerning Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Treatment

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Treatment (BHRT) was born in the late twentieth century as a new natural choice for healing menopause imbalances and aches. Hypothetically, it involves the creation of a adapted mix of hormones for an individual person, supplying a "custom- compounded" hormone product of particular doses. The person’s hormonal needs are spoted by means of a saliva analysis. A Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Tratement’s approach has its basis on the use of hormones that are molecularly equal to the ones produced by the body. These are taken from soy and yams’ plants and animals, specifically pigs and horses, to be adjusted in a lab to a completely identical molecular body configuration and are given to the patient in the form of a cream or injections. This lab adjustment is needed for plants because these require to be chemically adjusted since they don’t create progesterone, estrone, estradiol, testosterone or estriol. This treatment is being widely employed and supported around the world. It is not natural in its entirety as it is adjusted in a laboratory, but in comformity with the FDA, its natural derivation discards bioidentical hormones for patenting. To be patented, the hormone has to be unlike the natural configuration to some amount. This is the main reason for the permanent drug companies’ defense and encouragement for synthetic hormones’ therapies. However, numerous bioidentical hormones are FDA authorized, a number of adaptations of estrogen and progesterone are and estradiol is present in a number of authorized products. Custom- compounded dosages are not authorized, so, they are not checked for cleanliness, efficacy and safety and can have impurities in the mix. The reason behind a Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Treatment is that the fact that these hormones are equal to the ones the body creates turns them simpler and more natural for the body to use, assimilate and control. The body is able of metabolizing bioidentical hormones in the same manner it was designed to deal with its own, lessening side effects and since every blend is equivalent to its user, they are more likely to ease individual symptoms. Still is valuable to inquire about the safety of hormone treatments, no matter its {kind|type|class]. A medication can be unsafe if it is not applied in line with the individual’s exact body state and performance. It has been decided that, normally, a Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Treatment is better than a synthetic hormone’s one, but there is no perfection anywhere. The first one seems to be safer but further long- term inquiries are needed to definitely sustain this reality. Even as there is irrefutable proof about the risks that the synthetic hormone therapy offers, the Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy has been doubted also because of the lack of investigation, even though there is a lot of education on it in regards to its employment in the treatment of additional diseases or states connected to thyroid, diabetes, melatonin and testosterone. The most significant point associated with health at any stage is to never undervalue the strength of taking care of the body and soul. No one must consider a drug as completely reliable. It is key to push every person to live a healthy life that will help diminish menopause’s aches as well as any other sickness or important health state. A healthy and balanced diet, stress avoidance and control activities, exercise habits and healthy sleep patterns are the best collaborators to keep the body strong and able of reacting effectively to hormonal alterations as well as to emotional situationshttp://www.KentonBruicemd.com/The-Fundamentals-About Bioidentical-Hormone-Replacement-Treatment

The Bra—-is It A Symbol Of Male Oppression Or Not? ?

Back in the 60s and 70s some feminists burn bras and other undergarments, seeing them as symbols of male oppression. Sure, they have a point----all those lace and silk and flowery designs only turn men on only more, and what's more sexually arousing than seeing a woman unhooking the bra clasps to expose her breasts and nipples? All those bra outlines and exposed bra straps only made men to imagine what's beneath the women's clothings more eagerly.... To conclude, all those effects created by the bra seemed to turn a woman into a sexual object more. Still, I don't think that the bra has to be viewed as a symbol of male oppression (it has nothing to do with me being a guy). As a matter of fact, I think the practice of bra-burning itself, ironically, is sexist because the whole practice is based on the MALE taste and interpretation of the symbolism of female underwear. By burning the bra, the feminists of those days were actually submitting to this MALE taste and interpretation. A true feminist would create a FEMALE taste and interpretation of the symbolism of female underwear, instead of just submitting to the MALE one and burn the bras off, and this female symbolic interpretation would give the bra a new meaning from a truly female perspective, instead of a male one. Don't you agree? Furthermore, after doing some research in Women's Health section, I know now that women have a practical need to wear the bra, and as a matter of fact, without a bra it would create certain problems. I'd expressed my view. Now I ask for yours: the bra----it it a symbol of male oppression or not?

Staring At Breasts Good For Men’s Health……amazing…?

From the New England Journal of Medicine. Great news for girl watchers: Ogling over women's breasts is good for a man's health and can add years to his life, medical experts have discovered. According to the New England Journal of Medicine, "Just 10 minutes of staring at the charms of a well-endowed female is roughly equivalent to a 30-minute aerobics work-out" declared gerontologist Dr Karen Weatherby. Dr. Weatherby and fellow researchers at three hospitals in Frankfurt, Germany, reached the startling conclusion after comparing the health of 200 male outpatients - half of whom were instructed to look at busty females daily, the other half told to refrain from doing so. The study revealed that after five years, the chest-watchers had lower blood pressure, slower resting pulse rates and fewer instances of coronary artery disease. "Sexual excitement gets the heart pumping and improve blood circulation," explains Dr. Weatherby. "There's no question: Gazing at breasts makes men healthier." "Our study indicates that engaging in this activity a few minutes daily cuts the risk of stroke and heart attack in half. We believe that by doing so consistently, the average man can extend his life four to five years." **Star if you like this information**

How Many Years Will It Take For Another Gay Man To Become President?

Firebrand Larry Kramer says he has the evidence to prove it. Lincoln scholars are holding their fire until they see it. Get ready for the second Civil War. - - - - - - - - - - - - By Carol Lloyd May 3, 1999 | The 28-year-old traveler was tall, with rough hands, a chiseled jaw and unforgettable, deep-set, melancholy eyes. He arrived in town, his worldly possessions in two battered suitcases, and inquired at a general store about buying some bedding. But the price was far beyond his budget. The strikingly handsome 23-year-old merchant took pity on the man and invited him into his own bed, free of charge, which happened to be just upstairs. The traveler inspected the bed and, looking into the merchant's sparkling blue eyes, agreed on the spot. For the next four years the two men shared that bed along with their most private fears and desires. If this sounds like the opening of a homoerotic dime-store novel whose subsequent scenes feature fiery loins and ecstatic eruptions, hold your panting. The year is 1837, the place Springfield, Ill., and the leading men none other than our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln, and his lifelong friend Joshua Speed. It is a story that historians have told and retold, puzzled over and reinterpreted, dismissed and decorated. Some describe Lincoln's acceptance of Joshua Speed's generous offer as terse and matter-of-fact; others as beaming and emotional. What none of them questions is that Lincoln and Speed's years of living together cemented a friendship unparalleled in its intimacy and tenderness in Lincoln's life. So far, all major historians have stopped short of intimating that Lincoln was ever involved in a romantic affair with a man -- in fact, they explicitly discourage such interpretations. But Larry Kramer, the 62-year-old gay rights hell-raiser, Academy Award-nominated screenwriter ("Women in Love") and Pulitzer-nominated playwright ("The Normal Heart"), wants to change all that. In February, at a gay and lesbian conference in Madison, Wis., he read a portion of his unfinished book, "The American People" -- which, in the course of describing the history of gays in early America, avers that Lincoln and Speed were not merely bedfellows but lovers. "There's no question in my mind he was a gay man and a totally gay man," Kramer declares. "It wasn't just a period, but something that went on his whole life." Like the rumors that Thomas Jefferson had sired the children of his young slave Sally Hemings, questions about Speed and Lincoln's relationship have circulated for years. In "Abraham Lincoln: The Prairie Years" (1926), Carl Sandburg wrote that their relationship had "a streak of lavender and spots soft as May violets," which some have taken as a veiled reference to homosexuality. In 1995, just after Bob Dole rejected campaign contributions from the Log Cabin Republicans, a gay GOP group, Log Cabin member W. Scott Thompson was quoted in the New York Times as saying that gays should feel welcome in the party, "given that the founder was gay." Novelist Paul Russell, author of "The Gay 100," a ranking of the world's most important gay figures, also investigated the rumors but chose not to include Lincoln, feeling that the case was not strong enough, though he did include questionable figures like Shakespeare and Madonna. In an interview that will appear in a forthcoming anthology called "Sexual Writings by Gore Vidal," Gore Vidal told Kramer some years ago that during the research for the historical novel "Lincoln," Vidal too began to suspect that Lincoln was gay. Like most of Lincoln's early private life, the story of his friendship with Speed is a murky one -- although not nearly as murky as Lincoln's early liaisons with women. After four years of living in intimate quarters, Speed announced plans to sell the store and return to his home in Kentucky, where his family owned a large plantation. Lincoln, who was notoriously awkward and shy around women, was at the time engaged to a vivacious, if temperamental, society girl named Mary Todd, but as the date of Speed's departure and the marriage approached, Lincoln cracked. He wanted to break the engagement by letter, but at Speed's entreaty, he went to Mary Todd and told her face to face he did not love her. Some argue that Lincoln had fallen in love with another woman. Soon after, Speed departed, leaving Lincoln mired in depression and guilt. Seven months later Lincoln traveled to Speed's home in Kentucky, where he spent a month being nursed back to health. After that the two men corresponded affectionately for decades, chronicling their most personal internal conflicts -- including their abject fear of marriage, which they ominously refer to in their correspondence (always emphasized) as forebodings. Speed was the first to approach the altar successfully, an ordeal that Lincoln coached him through with tender but not altogether convincing letters of encouragement. It seemed that Speed was on the verge of a premarital meltdown similar to Lincoln's. "If you went through the ceremony calmly, or even with sufficient composure not to excite alarm in anyone present, you are safe, beyond question," Lincoln wrote just after the date of Speed's betrothal, "and in two or three months, to say the most, will be the happiest of men." Subsequent clandestine letters inquired whether Speed really was "happier or, if you think the term preferable, less miserable." Both men eventually married and had children; they remained close until they had a falling-out in 1855 over the issue of slavery.

Is This Normal For A Woman?

I hang out with alot of female friends, since i'm their gay-pal they confess to me every secret they have (not of course while others are present) and i noticed that although there is like, the stereotype and prejudice that women hate receiving anal and giving oral, however i haven;'t met a woman who is all "eeeewwwww" about sex, some prefer not to talk about sex cause they consider it a major private issue, which i respect, but the ones who do seem to do everything in the book (in normal matters). However i've caught other women in conversations saying "oh i'd never do that" and knowing myself that it isn't true, i come to a conflict if they are truthful or not. So my question. When a woman actually says she hates/dislikes/is against something in the sack, if she's lying, why is she? I asked a married woman and she said that if asked she always replies "i'd do anything that isn't illegal/drug related/health hazard/disgusting or breaks the privacy of the bedroom". Which i consider normal. It's like women are afraid to admit they take pleasure in sex, or afraid to admit they are pleasing their partner. Why do you think that is? Are there actually women out there who would deprive themselves and their partner from a sexual act in order to displease?

Does This Article Imply That Some Feminist Goals Are Impossible To Reach?

Since men seem to be hard wired to view scantily clad women as “objects”, then it seems that the feminist ideal that women should be taken seriously no matter how they dress seems to be an impossible goal. You cannot legislate away biology, no matter how many protest marches you lead (from CNN): --------------------------------------… ...New research shows that, in men, the brain areas associated with handling tools and the intention to perform actions light up when viewing images of women in bikinis. The research was presented this week by Susan Fiske, professor of psychology at Princeton University, at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. "This is just the first study which was focused on the idea that men of a certain age view sex as a highly desirable goal, and if you present them with a provocative woman, then that will tend to prime goal-related responses," she told CNN. Although consistent with conventional wisdom, the way that men may depersonalize sexual images of women is not entirely something they control. In fact, it's a byproduct of human evolution, experts say. The first male humans had an incentive to seek fertile women as the means of spreading their genes.... "They're not fully conscious responses, and so people don't know the extent to which they're being influenced," Fiske said. "It's important to recognize the effects."http://www.cnn.com/2009/HEALTH/02/19/wom…

Am I Supposed To Feel Sorry For Women In College Who Get Pregnant?

I have a friend who is pregnant. She did not have a steady boyfriend and was sleeping around. She was not on any type of birth control. She knew that birth control was available for free at the local health department. When ever I tried to talk to her about it she said, "Well if it happens, it happens." meaning getting pregnant. She has been living in a house with a male friend (whom she has never had sexual relations). Both names are on the lease and the male roommate does not think that he is ready to live with a pregnant woman. What happen in this situation? Am I supposed to feel sorry for her when she knew that this could happen? Why are so many young women today letting this happen when it is most certainly preventable? I believe that it is rather unfair for a college student (male or female) to get pregnant and then feel like their family, the world and the government (like tuition and housing assistance) owes them something while other hard working poor students can barely get by. Is getting knocked up an answer to my financial problems??
